Recipe: Mulled Wine

Mulled Wine
When the weather turns cold, nothing says festive like a pot of warm, spiced wine. Mulled Wine is comforting, aromatic, and incredibly easy to make at home.
Choose a fruity, smooth red wine such as Merlot or Shiraz, gently heated with spices for a cozy holiday treat.
Ingredients:
1 bottle red wine
1 orange, sliced
2–3 tbsp brown sugar (to taste)
2 cinnamon sticks
4–6 cloves
1 star anise
A little lemon peel (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Add all ingredients into a pot
2️⃣ Heat gently over low heat (do not boil)
3️⃣ Simmer for 15–20 minutes to infuse
4️⃣ Strain and serve warm

Merlot or Shiraz
