Wine Recipe: Brandy Cobbler

Wine Recipe: Brandy Cobbler

Brandy Cobbler: Refreshingly classic, with rich brandy, citrus, and sweetness! The term "Cobbler" comes from cobblestones, reflecting the crushed ice resembling a cup filled with them. Popular in the U.S. since the 18th century, it originally used sherry as the base spirit. In the 19th century, due to grape production issues, it evolved to include various spirits like brandy and port.

Ingredients:

- 3oz Brandy
- 1/2oz simple syrup
- 1 to 2 ounces club soda, to taste
- Orange slice, lemon slice, seasonal fruits, cherry for garnish
- Crushed ice

Instructions:

1. Fill up a wine glass with chilled wine glass
2. Put the Brandy and syrup into the glass and stir
3. Top up with soda
4. Garnish with the fruit to serve.

*Brandy or Whiskey are also good for making cobbler.
