What is wishbone?

The wishbone is actually the furcula, a bone located in the chest of a turkey. It is made up of two small bones that are connected, forming a "V" shape.

How it works:

Two people will each grab one end of the wishbone, make a wish, and then pull on the bone. The person who ends up with the larger half of the wishbone is traditionally thought to have a better chance of having their wish come true.
