Red Wine Chocolate Sauce
As the weather heats up and we head into May, why not cool down with something indulgent? Try making a Red Wine Chocolate Sauce to drizzle over your favourite ice cream!
It's easy, delicious, and even better when made with a fruity, chocolatey Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon for that extra depth of flavour.
Ingredients:
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup red wine
- ½ cup cream
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler.
2. Heat all ingredients in a small pot, stir until smooth.
3. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
4. Pour over ice cream or pancakes for an elevated treat!
